Duffy has not only reactivated his Instagram account, but has hinted at a return to music. The author of ‘Rockferry’ had been retired from public life for more than 10 years, until last year she promoted a remix of her biggest hit, ‘Mercy’, on TikTok. This same year, he also announced the arrival of a documentary.
To say that Duffy has announced her return to music may be too much, but we have photographic proof that she has at least stepped foot in the studio, and the certainty that the Welsh artist wants to release music again: «If only I could find the right words to explain how much I have missed you all. Working on getting back to you,” Duffy wrote.
Last year marked a decade since Duffy had disappeared from public life. In 2020, the artist revealed that she had been kidnapped and raped, and that this was the reason for her retirement. This will be told for the first time in his Disney+ UK documentary. The documentary will tell Duffy’s entire life until “his retirement from public life after his harrowing experience.”
