Duffy announces first concert in 15 years

The woman who brought northern soul back to the forefront in the 21st century with the splendid ‘Mercy’ returns. Duffy will perform his first concert in 15 years on July 5. It will be “an intimate secret concert” at a location that has not yet been revealed.

Duffy has announced that capacity for the set will be limited and that only a few people will be selected via social media.

After a second album less celebrated than his wonderful debut ‘Rockferry’, but in which half was very worthwhile, Duffy disappeared from the map. In 2020 she revealed that she had been kidnapped and raped for 6 weeks. A documentary is being prepared for Disney+ about these events, which includes interviews with Duffy.

He recently shared a photo in the recording studio, showing that he had recorded music again. Although he has sometimes shared a loose new song informally, such as ‘River in the Sky’ and ‘Something Beautiful’, none have officially appeared on platforms. In fact, the second album, ‘Endlessly’, is not on Spotify.
