Neil Fraserbetter known as Mad Professorone of the great legends of dub and reggae, returns to our country to offer two special performances in Barcelona and Madrid.
Mad Professor began his career in the world of dub and reggae, specifically in the second generation, to become, over the years, first a highly respected producer and creator and later a reference who expanded the radius of action of his sounds by working with artists of very diverse genres. They have passed through his hands since Mass Attack –“No Protection” continues to be a work of authentic cult – Sade, Jamiroquai, The Orb or even Depeche Mode. Who was a disciple of Lee “Scratch” Perry himself since the seventies, began designing his own mixing consoles and effects units, his career has marked the sound of dub of all time, since his first work “Dub Me Crazy” (82).
As for these two new shows in our country, you can attend in Barcelona (May 4, La (2) de Apolo) and Madrid (May 5, Sala Nazca). The concerts are presented as a “two-hour live dub show”, in which Fraser will interact with the MC King Karmzgiving the performances that special life that the musician and producer from Guyana has always displayed. A special session of thick bass, lethargic sonorities is expected in which he will review some of his great classics and authentic goldsmithing jewels from his extensive career.
