Dua Lipa joins the fashion of reissue popular albums for its 5th anniversary, so pronounced lately that even The Guardian examined her in a report of 2023, citing the examples of ‘Invasion of Privacy’ (2018) of Cardi B or ‘Stranger in The Alps’ (2018) by Phoebe Bridgers, among other very recent releases reissued by its fifth anniversary.
As in those cases, the reissue of ‘Future Nostalgia’ is swinging to the vinyl and is composed of three albums that reproduce the tracklists of the original album, that of ‘The Moonlight Edition’, and that of ‘Club Future Nostalgia’. The reissue of ‘Future Nostalgia’ is put on sale on March 28 at a modest price of 62 euros. The original album was launched on March 27.
The reissue of ‘Future Nostalgia’, the best album of 2020, will content some fans wanting to consume new products of their favorite artist, and for them, and no one else, this relaunch seems directed.
Interestingly, the album that Dua Lipa maintains right now in the British lists is neither ‘Future Nostalgia’ nor his latest work, ‘Radical Optimism’, of 2024, but his homonymous debut album of 2017, which appears in 73th place adding 392 weeks on list.
