Dua Lipa has resumed the ‘Radical Optimism’ (2024) tour in Melbourne, Australia. The first section of the tour passed through Asia between November and December 2024; Now, in mid -March, the tour has restarted in Oceania.
On the tour, Dua sings a different song according to the country that visits and, in the first concert of this section in Australia, Dua decided to version a “local band”, which is none other than AC/DC. Dua has not broken his head or with the choice of song, ‘Highway to Hell’, or with musical styling, because he has touched the closest to the original version of ‘Highway to Hell’, also accompanied by a band. They have roared guitars but, above all, Dua has embroidered the song in the vocal.
In his second concert in the Australian city, Dua decided to version a classic of the 90s. As in the AC/DC version, musical accompaniment is practically identical to the original song.
“There are some songs that do not need any kind of introduction,” Dua said in his third concert in Melbourne, Australia, just before making the public go crazy with the first notes of ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’, probably the most iconic Kylie Minogue song. Both divas already gathered in 2020 in the Remix de Studio 2054 of ‘Real Groove’.
The ‘Radical Optimism’ tour arrives in Spain on May 11 and 12 at the Movistar Arena in Madrid. Is it expected that Dua sing a song in Spanish or, at least, sing accompanied by a Spanish musician?
Dua Lipa has been news, lately, for appearing as a guest artist on the album of the South Korean Jennie, in the single ‘Handlebars’. In addition, he has announced the reissue of ‘Future Nostalgia’ (2020) for its fifth anniversary.
