drake has broken several streaming records so far this year after surprise publishing no less than three albums simultaneously: “Iceman”, “Habibti” and “Maid Of Honor”.
Although the Canadian artist had only been hinting at the release of “Iceman”fans discovered at midnight on May 15 that there were actually three full projects arriving at the same time.
“Iceman” includes 18 songs and collaborations with Future, Molly Santana and 21 Savage. For its part, “Habibti” features 11 songs and appearances by Sexyy Red and PartyNextDoor, while “Maid Of Honor” totals 14 songs with collaborations from Central Cee, Popcaan and Iconic Savvy.
Drake became the most streamed artist in a single day of 2026 on Spotify, while “Iceman” achieved the biggest daily debut of the year for an album on the platform. In addition, the song “Make Them Cry” became the most played song in a single day so far in 2026.
These works are the artist’s first studio albums since “For All The Dogs” (2023). Although in 2025 he published the collaborative project “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” along with PartyNextDoor.
The release also comes after the media dispute between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, a rivalry that led to multiple attack songs and a subsequent lawsuit against Universal Music Group. Controversy also accompanied the premiere when the White House shared an edited image of the cover of “Iceman”digitally adding a “MAGA” slogan necklace.
In parallel, Drake was indicted in January for promoting an allegedly illegal online betting platform. In addition to using profits obtained to artificially inflate their reproduction numbers.
