The hard rock band Disturbed has announced that he will take an indefinite break. Their vocalist and leader David Draiman He assures that it has nothing to do with the controversy generated by his position on Gaza.
A few weeks ago, David Draiman was involved in a controversy related to his position in support of Israel’s position in Gaza, even leading to hanging images next to a projectile supposedly destined for war. That caused the cancellation of a concert in Belgium and a lot of commotion on social networks.
Now the group announces that they will take an indefinite break, although in his statements Draiman assures that it has nothing to do with this, but rather that the band was exhausted after finishing the twenty-fifth anniversary tour of “The Sickness.”
The statement noted: “We are not sure when we will return. We need a long break and we hope to see you when we have done so.” We must also remember that Draiman also verbally confronted Roger Waters because of their totally opposite positions towards the current Israeli government.
