Destroyer will visit Madrid and Barcelona this September

The Canadian indie rock icon destroyer It will be presented to the Country on two different dates. He September 19 his concert will take place in the Copernicus Room in Madridas part of the Alhambra Moments cycle. Right after, the September 20will instead reach Barcelona to act in the Upload Room.

The concerts will bring together the artist’s repertoire in solo format, in a show where all the attention will fall on the protagonist, author of his music, without the support of any band.

Active since the mid-nineties, the project led by Dan Bejar has developed a unique career within alternative rock, both alone and in groups such as The New Pornographers either Swan Lake. Over the years, Destroyer has built a diverse discography, ranging from the alternative niche to compositions that earned him international success. The first widespread recognition came with “Kaputt” (2011), a work that placed him in the focus of international criticism. Since then, he has continued to develop his proposal on albums such as “Poison Season” (2015), “ken” (2017), “Have We Met”(2020), “Labyrinthitis” (2022) and “Dan’s Boogie” (2025), consolidating an evolution that has gone from indie rock towards areas close to synth pop with jazz influences.
