Pese a todo, Jane's Addiction comparten un tema nuevo

Despite everything, Jane’s Addiction share a new song

Busy times at the headquarters of Jane’s AddictionFirst the incident at the Boston concert, then the statements, the cancellations and the apologies. And just a few days later the group’s new single, “True Love.”

In just a few days, the American alternative rock band has made a lot of headlines in the specialized media around the world. First there was the incident between Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro at the Boston concert, then the statements made by Farrell’s wife against – mainly – Eric Avery, the group’s bassist; then the cancellation of the remaining concerts of the tour and to top it off Perry Farrell’s public apologies to the entire group, and especially to Dave Navarro, acknowledging that his reaction was out of place due to the pressure of the last concerts. And of course, Jane’s Addiction concluded by saying that they were going to take some time off and rethink the future in order to overcome the mental health problems that some of its members have been suffering and that have affected the entire band.

Well, against all odds, the band has now surprised us by releasing a second single recorded by the original line-up that had reunited precisely on this tour that brought them to Vitoria and Madrid to perform live. “True Love” is the second song that Farrell, Navarro, Avery and Stephen Perkins (drums) have shared after “Imminent Redemption”, released last July. You can listen to it below these lines and on all streaming platforms.
