Deezer launches a music detector created by Artificial Intelligence that investigates twenty different streaming platforms. If you don’t want them on your playlists, this is your tool.
There are thousands, tens of thousands and more and more, people and musicians who refuse to listen to and spread music created by Artificial Intelligence. This has increased since some platforms – interested in doing business without people involved – have decided to open their doors to all the music generated in this way.
Well, listening to everyone, the Deezer platform has created a completely free tool for all those people who want to identify which music in playlists has been generated by AI and in this way turn their back on it or eliminate it if they had included it in one of their personal playlists.
It is available in twenty-seven languages and allows you to identify the trace left by AI when generating music on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and Soundcloud, among others. In fact, a few weeks ago Deezer estimated that forty-four percent of the music currently uploaded to platforms was created by AI, which gave an estimated figure of about seventy-five thousand songs a day. Last September it was estimated to be twenty-eight percent. while in January 2025 there was talk of ten percent.
Meanwhile, Spotify has signed an agreement with Universal to allow fans to remix or cover songs through AI, as long as they are Premium customers of the platform.
