Deadletter to present “The Hysterical Strength” in Spain

The British post-punk band Deadletter has shared “More Heat!”, the fourth preview of what will be their first album. And the good news is that they will be presenting the album in our country just a few weeks after its release.

The British Deadletter They have released the song “More Heat!”, the fourth single from what will be their first album, “The Hysterical Strength”which will be released on September 13th on the SO Recordings label. The album will also include the previous releases “Mere Mortal”, “Mother” and “Relieved”.

Deadletter sound like a mix of post-punk and dance rhythms, combining horns with drums that always hit the spot and vocal parts, those of Zac Lawrence, that are pure United Kingdom.

About the song, Lawrence himself notes that “it’s about the way someone can try to convince themselves that they’re enjoying something that’s actually causing them discomfort. Whether it’s to preserve appearances or simply because of an inability to swallow their pride and accept it. It talks about that period of discomfort, about how it weighs more on you to change than to continually do something you find no satisfaction in.”

In any case, write down the dates and don’t let them pass you by: Madrid (October 16, Café Berlín) and Barcelona (October 17, Razzmatazz 3)Tickets are available by clicking on the city you are interested in.
