Violetthe daughter of Dave Grohl eighteen years old, is working on what will be his debut album. And he is doing it with the hours of study that his father gave him when he turned eighteen years of age.
After having collaborated on the vocals with the Foo Fighters from her father, Violet is working in the studio to shape what would be her debut album, of which no further details have been released. Of course, her own father has commented that “Violet is incredibly committed to growing as an artist and songwriter.”
Violet has been traveling with Foo Fighters since 2018, performing with them on various occasions, such as last year’s Glastonbury, a concert in which the young woman performed “Show Me How”, a song that Dave wrote for his mother. He also performed in 2022 at the tribute concerts for the late drummer Taylor Hawkins, where he performed “Last Goodbye” and “Grace” by Jeff Buckley and “Valerie” by The Zutons.
In January 2021, Dave praised Violet as “an incredibly talented musician who can pick up an instrument and learn to play it in a week.” At that time she also commented that Violet was considering making a shoegaze album, although it remains to be seen if that is the sound that the young woman is currently exploring. For the album, it has been written that he would be collaborating with producer Justin Raisenwho in the past has worked with artists such as Kim Gordon, Charli XCX and Sky Ferreiraamong others.
