Dave Grohl announces daughter out of wedlock

Dave Grohl has a confession to make: the Foo Fighters frontman has announced that he has fathered a daughter as a result of an extramarital affair. Grohl has decided to make the birth of his daughter public in a statement, something very unusual when dealing with infidelity, a situation to which he alludes implicitly. In the text, Grohl promises to be a present father to his newborn daughter while trying to “re-earn” the trust of his wife, Jordyn Blum, and his three daughters.

Grohl announced in his statement: “I have recently become the father of a baby girl, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving father and support her in whatever way she needs. I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.” Grohl thanks the public for their consideration “towards all the children involved” in the situation, “as we move forward together as a family.”

Foo Fighters have been in the news these days for supporting Kamala Harris and also for making fun of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Their latest album, ‘But Here We Are’, dedicated to the late Taylor Hawkins, was released in 2023.
