And now he is going to prove it again on a new tour that will visit five Spanish cities. But first he presents a new single, “Pensando en Ella”, which will be played at these concerts.
Dante Spinetta, one of the most innovative artists in Latin American music, will return to Spain this coming November with a tour that promises to make the public vibrate with his characteristic funk and his unmatched stage energy. Son of the legendary Luis Alberto Spinetta and former member of the referential Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas,
Dante Spinetta now recovers the legacy of the greats of funk to move between p-funk or Prince’s sound adapted to the current moment, which has led him to release several solo albums – the new one is about to be released, and you can already listen to “Starlight” and from today “Pensando en Ella” as previews – and to collaborate with artists of the caliber of Resident, Natalia Lafourcade and Vicentico. His unmistakable style, a mix of sophistication, rhythm and lyrical sensitivity, positions him as one of the great ambassadors of the new Latin funk.
The tour will pass through Madrid (November 5, Sala Villanos; within the Madrid Jazz Festival), Valencia (November 6, Sala Jerusalem), Málaga (November 7, Sala Roka), Mallorca (November 9, Sala Es Gremi) and Barcelona (November 10, Sala Apolo). Tickets are now available at this same link.
