Daniel Boeckner, intimate concerts in Barcelona and Madrid

The Canadian Daniel Boeckner You will visit us next June to offer two intimate concerts and present your solo material. We can see him in Barcelona and Madrid.

Although tanned in essential independent bands of the Canadian scene as – especially – Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs and Divine FitsDaniel Boeckner debuted alone last year with “Boeckner!”by the hand of Sub Pop, home in which he has published the material of all his previous projects.

In his own words, this album has almost for him for a new start, betting on indie rock still, but with the synthesizers winning much greater prominence. “I think somehow in my head I keep playing in a punk group in Vancouver,” explains Boeckner. “Since I started when I was a teenager, my musical life has consisted of trying to develop my own musical language, and this album is my first presentation of it.”

Therefore, the Canadian is starting again and wants to reach the public in a close and intimate way. Hence we will be able to see in Barcelona (June 10) and Madrid (June 11) in Salas such as Laut and Wurlitzer Ballroom respectively.
