Damiano David, vocalist and frontman of Måneskin, is embarking on a solo project. With the aim of showing his most “personal and vulnerable” side, the singer will release ‘SILVERLINES’, produced by Labrinth, on September 27.
The Italian already gave hints about what was to come during the VMAs, where he explained that he had been working for a “long, long time” on a “new project” outside of Måneskin. Today he has confirmed that the first single will be released by the versatile British producer.
According to a press release, the decision to start a parallel solo career “was born out of a need to express a more personal and vulnerable side,” which “remains completely unexplored in Måneskin’s compositions.”
During the VMAs, Damiano also promised fans of the Eurovision-winning band that “nothing will change”: “The band is great. We will continue working,” he clarified.
