Daft Punk, book in Spanish and remixes on vinyl

New news for French fans daft punk. On the one hand, it arrives in Spanish “Daft Punk: We Were The Robots” and, on the other, the remix album of “Human After All”the duo’s third album.

Although Daft Punk no longer exists, we can still have interesting news about them. This time, also, twice. On the one hand, the launch has been confirmed next November 19 of “Daft Punk: We Were The Robots. A Disco Pogo Tribute”. It will be launched in Spanish through Contra and with translation by the specialized journalist Javier Blanquez. This is a tribute book by the hand of Pogo Disc –that is, the publication Jockey Slut in its new reincarnation– which summarizes the duo’s career over almost two hundred and fifty pages and with more than one hundred color and black and white photographs of different stages of their formation. The book also includes exclusive interviews with Daft Punk that were originally published in Jockey Slut and current with James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) and Pedro Winter (Ed Banger)who was the duo’s manager.

On the other hand, the November 28 will be released for the first time on double vinyl “Human After All: Remixes”a compilation of remixes from what was the duo’s third album, “Human After All”which this year turned twenty years old. This is a limited edition on vinyl that brings together both the remixes that were released in 2006 (Justice, Soulwax, SebastiAn…) like those that were later added to the 2014 Japanese edition (Basement Jaxx, The Juan MacLean).
