d4vd, arrested for the death of Celeste Rivas

D4vd has been arrested this Thursday for the alleged murder of Celeste Rivas, the 14-year-old girl whose body – dismembered and in a state of decomposition – was found in the musician’s car in a warehouse in California last September.

D4vd has been held without bail and his case will be reviewed on April 20 to decide whether charges will be filed. His lawyer assures that the artist is innocent and that the evidence will show that he did not end the life of the minor. He has also indicated that there is still no formal accusation or criminal complaint, and that he is only detained on suspicion.

The case began in September 2025, when police found decomposing human remains inside a Tesla registered to David Burke, while the singer was on tour. The tour was canceled after the victim’s identity became public. D4vd was officially named in the investigation in February of this year.
