After the successful fifteenth anniversary edition, the Barcelona festival Cruilla announces the first names of his return, which will be in Julyand as usual in the Parc del Forum.
Write down the main details: the Cruïlla will take place between July 8 and 11, 2026 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. With that as a starting point, the next thing you’ll want to know is which artists will be part of the lineup.
Well, today the first names that will be part of the grid for this edition, which will be number sixteen, have been announced. And, once again, the lineup will combine different generations of artists and diverse musical styles, something that has characterized the festival since its distant beginnings. Although new names will be announced, these first signings serve to underline that intention.
At the head of the list we will find the Americans Pixies and David Byrne –whose previous participation in the festival left an indelible memory–, the Irish Two Door Cinema Club and the Colombians Stereo Bomb.
Along with them we will also find established names such as those of Polo & Bread, Sampa The Greatthe Mexican kings of cumbia punk They are Pear Breakers or the Italian duo Mind Enterprises or new talents like Argentina Yami Safdie.
As far as Spanish artists are concerned, at the moment it is confirmed that both Granada-born artists will be at the festival White Boy like the catalans Mishima, Dan Peralbo and El Combo –who will be presenting their second full-length at Cruïlla–. Obviously, the remaining usual artistic activities of the festival and also the selection of stand up comedy and monologues common in its latest editions.
