Cristina Len releases “I married my mother”, her new song

Cristina Len reinterprets this traditional Castilian romance about an imposed marriage from a feminine and contemporary perspective. And the result is downright attractive.

Produced together with Yoel Molina In August 2025, “My mother married me” merges the choral force of Martiaguesa women with an atmospheric and electronic sound, offering a new reading of an ancient song in which the rural and the modern coexist without hierarchies. This is the source of inspiration for his new project,”Martiago“, which will be released in the coming weeks. In addition, the single is accompanied by a video clip directed by Dani Bega.

His first album “TMLM” (Cycling Records, 24) merged the musical avant-garde of the production and the simplicity of lyrics that aimed to pay tribute to the tradition of Castilian-Leon folklore.

Cristina Len She is a singer, songwriter and producer. His music combines roots and electronics, mixing tradition and present, emotion and intuition, moving between calm and rage, the intimate and the collective.
