Crazy Town singer Shifty Shellshock dies at 49

Shifty Shellshock, singer and leader of Crazy Town, has died at the young age of 49. According to US media, Seth Binzer was found at his home in Los Angeles earlier this week. At the moment, not many details have been shared about his death and a cause has not been publicly revealed either.

Crazy Town are remembered for the single ‘Butterfly’, released in 2000. At that time, the rap-rock song rose to the top of the charts around the world, including the Hot 100, where it spent two weeks. at number 1.

Shellshock has always been open about his problems with addiction. In 2012, the singer was in a coma due to substance-related issues and received treatment in the intensive care unit in Los Angeles. That same year, he was arrested on cocaine possession and domestic violence charges, and sentenced to three years’ probation.
