Courtney Love says she “almost” died in 2019 and finishes her album

Courtney Love has confirmed that her second solo album, successor to ‘America’s Sweetheart’, is finally finished. He announced it in a video uploaded to his Instagram account in which he also revealed details about a terrible illness he suffered.

«Many of you are asking where the disk is. It’s finished. He’s been at it for a while. “It’s a very good album,” Love begins. Explaining the reason why her second album did not arrive sooner, she revealed that in 2019 she suffered from an illness that kept her admitted to hospitals: “I almost died,” she said.

Love says that she lost “all my hair”, weighed “around 45 kilos” and that they told her she was going to die: “I didn’t believe them,” she says. Finally, the artist points out that when she made her next album, she “believed it was her last, so I made the album I had always wanted to make”: “I was in the hospital for most of it but when I wasn’t all I did was write and record,” she concluded.
