On December 11 and 12, a new edition of the festival organized by Bloody Mary.
Bolo-Bolo Weekend has just announced the complete program of its second edition after the incorporation of Dear Joanne, Get out of the car, Karizia Mustard and horse funeralwhich are added to the names already announced of Bizarre Love Triangle, Shego, The Sadies and Mars Lasarte.
Among these new confirmations are Dear Joannea young band from Madrid that draws from punk, garage rock, new wave and power pop, who will come to the festival to present their first work, produced by Carlangas; Get out of the carone of the most unique and unclassifiable groups to emerge in Bilbao in recent years, with its unapologetic mix of styles such as punk-funk, jazz, hip hop, no wave and grime; the donostiarra band Karizia Mustardwho will present their debut album at Intxaurrondo; horse funerala pop-rock project led by Elene Uribarri (Akëer), who after beginning reinterpreting songs by artists such as Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Phoebe Bridgers or Alvvays is already working on her own repertoire that she will publish during 2026.
The organization maintains its commitment to bringing together consolidated bands and emerging proposals on the same bill, with a program in which styles such as pop-rock, noise, country-rock, post-punk, garage and punk rock will coexist. In addition to the concerts, the festival will once again have an area dedicated to food and drinks.
Promoted by the promoter Bloody Mary, Bolo-Bolo Weekend It was born last year coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the legendary record store and promoter from Irunda, with the intention of consolidating itself as a reference micro-festival within the cultural scene of Donostia. In its first edition, artists such as Aiko the group, Dame Area, Lukiek, Grande Amore and Silitia participated in the event. The visual identity of the festival once again bears the illustrator’s signature Julen Alberdi.
Tickets for both days will go on sale at a single price of €46 on the Donostia Kultura website on the following dates: for DK members on July 29 and for the general public on July 30. Both dates at 11:30 am.
