The septet Silva Collective has released “La Luna y el Sol”, a new contemporary funk pop single together with the Argentinians Island of Faces which serves as the second preview of his third full-length that will be released on April 4.
Citing artists such as Parcels or Daft Punk and from the bubbling Argentine scene, “La Luna y el Sol” is built with an “amalgam of styles always driven by pop. A hypnotic bass and guitars that never stop dancing are the perfect cushion for the voices of Colectivo da Silva and Isla de Caras, who fill the song with a thousand harmonies that will hit you with the first listen.”
After the stir created by his first album “Vacation” (Subterfuge, 19) that fit them into the new map of the music of our country and the success of their second album “Vargas House” (Subterfuge, 21), which exceeds five million streams on Spotify alone, the septet from Granada announced last September the arrival of a third album produced for the first time by them with “If you are next to me”, a song influenced by names like Mild High Club or Bandalos Chinos.
