Coldplay returns Spanish to SNL, Tini through

Coldplay are releasing a new album this week called ‘Moon Music’. They have presented him with two singles called ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ and ‘WE PRAY’. The latter was a collaborative song with several artists, of a semi-hippie nature, and it is the one that they have chosen to bring to Saturday Night Live.

In what is their 8th appearance on the show they have been accompanied by the loud voice of Elyanna and also by the Argentine Tini for the part of the song in Spanish. It is not, of course, the first time that Spanish is used in a program that Bad Bunny or Rosalía have appeared on, but Coldplay’s commitment is striking, when other collaborators on ‘WE PRAY’ were the British Little Simz and the Nigerian Burna Boy. After all, Tini may have a larger audience in the United States.

The first song that Coldplay performed on SNL was not the first single from the album nor one of the most promising from a commercial point of view, the nod to disco music ‘Good Feelings’, but the piano ballad ‘All My Love’ .
