is born Room Network Circuita program that encourages live music in these essential spaces for cultural development.
Under the coordination of ACCESS and collaboration with General Directorate of Performing Arts and Musiche is born Network Circuit in Roomswhich unites 93 live music venues around the country to encourage programming and artistic diversity. This proposal will take place over the next few months, in which the halls will host a continuous agenda of concerts that will connect local, national and international proposals.
To select the participating venues, an evaluation process was carried out based on criteria such as artistic quality, trajectory, social impact and programming of each space. Among the selected rooms are some such as Sala Apolo (Barcelona), La Lata de Bombillas (Zaragoza), Sala Custom (Seville), Sala El Sol (Madrid), Sala Mamba! (Murcia) or La Mirona (Girona)among many others.
As highlighted Isaac Viveropresident of ACCES, “Red de Salas highlights the importance of the concert hall circuit for the development of the music scene in Spain, also highlighting the importance of the sectoral associationism that ACCES represents and the public-private collaboration with the Ministry of Culture to promote these absolutely fundamental and essential spaces.”
This program responds to ACCES’ vision of live music venues that are much more than programming spaces. They are places where a scene is built, talent is promoted and a community is generated around music.
