The Cuban artist Cimafunk and his band La Tribu will be performing again in our country this month. They will be presenting “For Your Body” in Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona.
Last August it saw the light “For Your Body”the new work by Cuban artist Cimafunk, in which we find eleven songs in which guests also appear Monsieur Periné, Big Freedia or himself George Clinton. But the best news is that the artist will visit us with his band in just a few days to deploy his accessible and danceable funk machinery.
We will be able to see them November 15 at the Teatro Eslava in Madrid; on the 16th at the Zaragoza Jazz Festival and on the 21st at La Paloma in Barcelona (within the 56th Barcelona Jazz Festival). But pay close attention because that’s not all. Nominated for the Latin Grammy thanks to his song “Catalina” in the category of Best Recording of the Year, Cimafunk will star in an event prior to the Latin Grammy gala in Miami with an event titled “Funky Cuban Jam” and that, the November 12will feature guests such as Catalina Garcia (Monsieur Periné), Arturo Sandoval, Emily Estefan, Chucho Valdés, Nella and others.
