Although Chill Mafia said goodbye to the stage a few months ago, his legacy is still very alive and now also in film format.
The Navarro Lanza collective “Historical”. The real story of the last concert of Chill Mafia, a comedy that mixes documentary and fiction to tell – to its way – what happened before the massive final concert at the BEC.
Available exclusively on the EITB primean platform, the tape is presented as a mixture of The Office with miracles, technical chaos and Basque satire. In the center of the story: Kiliki Frexko, who after the appearance of Aralar’s angel receives a divine mission: saving Euskal Herria with an epic concert.
Directed by Arriguri, co-produced by Polyte Bear (Last Tour), and with a script by Julen Goldarazena (Flakofonki) and Beñat Iturbe, the film features original music of Chill Mafia and performances of the group itself playing itself. And yes, Olentzero also appears.
Reality or parody? A portrait as crazy as lucid of a band that changed the rules of the game in Euskadi. Subtitles available for those who do not speak Basque but want to understand what noses it happened in that legendary concert.
