Chiara, Amaia and The Weeknd cannot with Bad Bunny in Spain

The Top 10 of discs Spain is substantially renewed, although without news in number 1 on the list, which is still led by Bad Bunny. In the 2 direct enters Chiara Oliver – Excursor of Operation Triunfo 2023 – with his second EP, ‘The last page’. This means that Chiara has sold more than Amaia and The Weeknd in Spain, at least, for now. Oliver knows what it is to collapse of the entire top 100 of albums after 4 weeks, so it is about to see how this new release endures.

Amaia places his third album at number 3, ‘If I open my eyes, it is not real’, continuing the sequential descent of his discography: his second album, ‘When I don’t know who I am’, he entered the 2, and his first album, ‘But nothing happens,’ entered the 1. Amaia places two songs on the singles list, ‘Maps’ (64) and ‘Auxiliary’ (79), and keeps the single ‘I have a thought’ (60).

The Weeknd has devastated the United States and the United Kingdom with its new album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, which is being promoted as the farewell of The Weeknd, and is available in a variety of formats. In Spain, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ opens in the 4th place. These last releases. Neither ‘Starboy’ (39) nor ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ (23) achieved such high positions, at a time when Promusicae had not yet merged the physical sales lists and streaming.

Another novelty within the Top 10 is starred by the Gloosito rapper with the entrance, in position 5, of his album ‘Euroslime ⚕️’. Gloosito, rapper and producer of Collado Villalba, Madrid, had already placed his ‘global’ album in 48th position, in 2022, and his project ‘SUV’ in 28, in 2024. With ‘Euroslime ⚕️’, Glosito obviously achieves his Best historical position.

And we have not yet ended the Top 10: the last entry of another national rap star, Recycled J, which places its ambitious double album, ‘San Jorge’, in 7th place 7. Jorge Escorial Moreno does not move away from its trend Recent, because Casanova ‘had been Top 6 in 2024.

Other entrances on the list are ‘Hotel Morgan’ in Morgan in 32, ‘The World of Hans Zimmer – Part II: A New Dimension’ in 42 and ‘The Summer Portraits’ by Ludovico Einaudi in 75.

Finally, you have to comment on two entries caused by the latest edition of the Grammy. Beyoncé, winner of the album of the year, reappears on the list with ‘Cowboy Carter’, at number 76 (the album entered the number 1 of “sales” in its first week). And Doechii, about to become the fashion rapper, appears for the first time on the Spanish album list with its mixtape, ‘Aligator Bites Never Heal’, winner of Grammy for the best rap album. The album opens in 88.
