Charli xcx and Caroline Polachek dance ¿La Macarena? in Roskilde

The launch parties for ‘BRAT’ continued this weekend. This time, Charli xcx was the one to present the album at the well-known Roskilde festival. After songs like ‘360’ and ‘Everything Is Romantic’, Charli brought Caroline Polachek on stage.

And she did it to perform a very crazy remix of ‘Welcome to My Island’ (this one in particular), the track that opened the album that Caroline Polachek published last year. Both had already played it together live on a couple of occasions.

At one point, which has been widely shared on social media, the two perform a choreography that the NME has already dubbed “The Macarena”, although it should be added that it also has a bit of ‘Saturday Night’ in it. All of it remixed with the house brand. ‘BRAT’, meanwhile, continues to be strong in the charts and this week remains in the top 4 in the UK, in what is its 4th week in the top 5. Worldwide, it has sold almost 400,000 units.
