The first semi-final of Eurovision 2024 will feature three artists who will star in the opening event on May 7 at the Malmö Arena, these are Chanel, Eric Saade and Eleni Foureira.
Eurovision has confirmed that Chanel (Spain 2022), Eric Saade (Sweden 2011) and Eleni Foureira (Cyprus 2018) will perform together in the first Eurovision semi-final with a show called 'United By Music'. Each one will sing their Eurovision song. In the case of Chanel it will of course be 'SloMo', third in the 2022 final. In Saade's, 'Popular', third in 2011. And, in Foureira's, 'Fuego', second in 2018. On stage They will be accompanied by 24 dancers.
This closes the musical programming of the two Eurovision semi-finals, which, in addition to the opening act and the participating countries that aspire to reach the Grand Final on May 11, will also feature performances by the Big Five countries first time.
In the first semi-final on May 7, Olly Alexander will perform for the United Kingdom between Ireland and Ukraine; Isaak for Germany between Iceland and Slovenia, and Marcus and Martinus for Sweden between Moldova and Azerbaijan. On the other hand, in the second semi-final on May 9, Slimane will perform for France between Czechia and Austria, Nebulossa for Spain between Latvia and San Marino and Angelina Mango for Italy between Estonia and Israel. The Grand Final will take place on Saturday, May 11.
