Chanel charges against RTVE for its absence at the Benidorm Fest

While Spain went to bed happy for the victory of Nebulossa and her ‘ZORRA’ in the third edition of the Benidorm Fest, a former winner seemed not to do the same last night. «’Clavaito’ is sung at the Benidorm Fest without me. “It seems disrespectful to the Eurofans and, of course, to me,” Chanel wrote on social media. “Congratulations Nebulossa,” she added.

The ‘SloMo’ singer is alluding to Abraham Mateo’s performance during the final, who took the stage as a guest to sing two of his songs: ‘Falsos SERVICIOS’ and ‘Clavaito’. During the second of them, which is a collaboration with Chanel belonging to the artist’s debut album ‘Water!’, She considerably highlighted her absence.

According to the Twitter account of Chanel Terrero Spain, the artist has communicated the following to them privately: «I go where they want me and they always invite me to perform. “No one invited me to perform at the Benidorm Fest final.” However, when María Eizaguirre, head of the Spanish delegation, was asked about Chanel’s statement at the end of the gala, she preferred not to address the topic: “I haven’t seen anything.”
