The APECAT (Association of Catalan Phonographic and Videographic Producers-Publishers) grants the Phonogram Award at Catalan record stores.
All of Catalonia’s record stores have been awarded the 2024 Fonogram Award given to them by APECAT (Association of Catalan Phonographic and Videographic Producers-Publishers), a non-profit organization that represents the interests of Catalan record companies. The award is given to them as “vindication of their work and perseverance in keeping the physical recorded music sector alive in a world in which the digital single is increasingly present.”
The next Thursday, November 14 A physical prize will be awarded to three of the most emblematic stores in the city of Barcelona: Groove, Disc 100 and Revolver Discs. It will be given to them within the inaugural event of Fongrama. The award has been designed by the historic illustrator and DJ Txarly Brown.
Let us remember that Fonogram is the week of music created in Catalonia and that it will be celebrated between November 14 and 16 with “Phonogram for debate”professional day on the 14th open to the entire state in the Sala Moragues del Born CCM (Barcelona) and “Fonogram a la ciutat”, on the 15th and 16th with presentations by artists, producers, video clip directors, etc., at the B-Core store and at the Rouge Cocktail Bar.
