Cass McCombs has announced its most personal album to date, ‘Interior Live Oak’. This will be available from August 15 and will include the two singles that the American has launched so far: ‘Priets’ and ‘Peace’. Three years have passed since the last solo launch of McCombs, ‘Heartmind’.
The note describes the new album as a work in which McCombs “draws on everything that has created over two decades of experimentation to cross it with a direct and clarifying light.” In addition, he says that the attitude of the singer -songwriter is “hopeful.”
‘Interior Live Oak’ is inspired by the author’s return to Domino and the revision of his first work. In this way, McCombs has worked on this album with some of his first collaborators, such as Jason Quever (Papercuts) and Chris Cohen. McCombs comes from a great year, in which he has performed with Beth Gibbons and Beach House, and will continue touring Europe through different festivals and as the opening room of Father John Misty.
