Carmelita announces new EP with the single “Emperar”

Carmelite A few days ago they released “Empeorar”, the new single with which they preview their next EP, which will be released at the end of this year.

The band has released “Emperar”, their new single that opts for a darker and more direct power-pop, daring to sing in Spanish. In addition, it is accompanied by a video clip directed by Laura Estudillo and Patrick Kilbridewhich reinforces the group’s imagination. This is the first song that previews his next EP, which will deal with topics such as self-love, life experiences or failure, and which will be released in the fall of this year. Along with this announcement, the band will present this new stage live next June 11 at the Tempo Club room in Madrid.

Carmelita is a group formed in 2018 by Patrick Kilbride (guitar and vocals), Alex Garcia (lead guitar), Ricardo Costa (battery) and Bruno Motta (bassist). With references to Gaslight Anthem, Japandroids or The Hold Steady, their debut EP was released in 2020, but it was not until 2024 that their first full-length album was released, “LosercoreNow, they open a new musical stage with “Emperor,” the first preview of their next EP.
