A Galician and a man from Madrid sing together “It could be worse”, but they do it with such conviction that one would say that Carlangas and Leiva They have been working together for years.
“Could be worse” is not only the surprising collaboration between Carlangas and Leiva, but it is also the first preview of what will be the next work of the Galician, who in the past was a member of Novedades Carminha and who has collaborated over the years with artists such as Manu Chao or Grande Amore.
Thus, we can begin to imagine what this second long duration will sound like after “Carlangas” 2023 and the EP “Ballodrome Vol. 1” 2024, two demonstrations of Carlangas’ eclecticism and musical concerns.
Carlangas thus opens the way to his new album with “Could be worse”, a first single where he recovers his rock roots from one of the most melodic and hit-oriented views of his entire career; and he does it together with Leiva, in a collaboration that marks a meeting point within author rock and indie in Spanish.
