Cardi B, in X: «THERE IS NO ALBUM, I DON’T WANT TO MAKE MUSIC»

Cardi B’s album was one of the most anticipated albums of 2020. After the release of ‘WAP’ with Megan Thee Stallion in August of that same year, expectations for the rapper’s second album were through the roof. The singer, however, asked for patience. And today, three years after that, there is still no news about it.

In fact, the release of her next album seemed imminent at that time because Cardi B released two songs from it. The success that ‘WAP’ became was followed by ‘Up’ in February 2021. In fact, the artist decided not to present ‘WAP’ to the Grammys to do so the following year as part of the campaign for the new album, which never would be announced.

Until now, there has been little more information about the rapper’s next work, except for her appearances in some interviews where she stated that it would arrive “very soon.” However, Cardi B appeared on social media tonight to publish some strong tweets about the album and delete them after a few minutes.

Among the strangest messages that the singer has left are “THERE IS NO ALBUM” and “I DON’T WANT TO MAKE MUSIC.” Her reaction has been sparked by some negative comments about the new music that Cardi B had shared on Instagram. The preview shown by the artist has not been well received by some of her followers and Cardi B did not take long to express her anger on the social network.

The rapper is currently promoting her latest single, ‘Bongos’. She published it on September 22 by the hand, again, of Megan Thee Stallion, although her success is being quite discreet. If that release could have been a sign that the album was closer than ever, her recent deleted tweets seem to indicate otherwise.
