A week after they both unfollowed each other on Instagram, Cardi B has confirmed her breakup with Offset. She has done it through an Instagram live, where she has confirmed the rumors and has revealed that she is single after 6 years since her wedding to the rapper, with whom she has 2 children in common.
The artist has confessed that she did not know “how to tell the world” that she was single again, but that she had had “a sign”: “The last time I went live I wanted to tell you, but I didn’t know how, so I changed my mind.” . “I want to start 2024 as if she were new, open,” she added. “I don’t know. I am curious about a new life, about a new beginning. And yes, I am excited.
According to rumors, “the signal” that Cardi B refers to may have been a deleted tweet from Blueface in which he stated that his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Chrisean, had become intimate with Offset. To this she added that Chrisean had made out with Offset at Offset and Cardi’s house in November.
Offset was quick to speak out about it, and he did so through X, where he denied these accusations: “I have never spoken to or touched that lady,” he wrote in a publication. “Speak truth man, you need help!”
