He Cap Roig Festival He will celebrate this summer his twenty -five years of experience and will do so with a program of solidarity and protagonists both national and international.
It can already be confirmed that Fito Páez will be the one who will open the Festival on July 12while the closure will be borne by Joan Dausà, on August 18. In between, we can enjoy artists like concerts such as Cabra soup, simple Minds, Sílvia & Salvador, The Tyots, Sebastián Yatra, Ub40 feat. Ali Campbell, Figa Flawas, Nil Moliner, Ana Belén, Natalia Lafourcade, James Blunt, Antonio Orozco, Tom Jones, Rosario, always like this, Lax’n’busto, Ara Malikian, Els Catarres, Franz Ferdinand or Amaral.
All of them will perform at this festival organized by Caixabank and the Clipper’s group, which will take place between July 12 and August 18 and will have a total program of twenty -four solidarity concerts. There will also be Cap Roig Mini, aimed at children, will take place on August 2 and will have the performance of The Pot Petit. Let us remember that. Concerts are held at the Cap Roig gardens, located in front of the sea, between the municipalities of Palafrugell and Mont-Ras, in the Baix Empordà region (Girona).
Within the framework of its social commitment and on the occasion of the Festival’s anniversary, the Cap Roig Solidari project extends to all shows and Part of the collection of each of the concerts will be used for social projects from Girona entities and the Empordà Baix area: Occupational and Special Work Center, Pots Association, Doctor Josep Trueta Hospital, Vimar Foundation and Arcadi Armangue Barceló Foundation.
