After covering Els Pets (“Pau”, with a change of lyrics to update what the song tells us), Aleix and Joan surprised us with a second song from the album. covers with which they will celebrate their ten years of experience and which will lead them to star in a tour of twelve concerts in twelve days. “Insurrección” is, without a doubt, one of the best-known songs by El Último de la Fila, the duo formed by Manolo García and Quimi Portet, and one of those songs in the history of pop in Spanish that has overcome the barrier of time and that will very possibly be chanted at all the Cala Vento concerts when they perform it.
But let’s go to the complete song list that the group has revealed through social networks. The songs are the following: “My free song” (version of Dyangowho in turn adapted “Il mio canto libero” from the Italian Lucio Battisti), “Insurrection” (The Last in Line), “A sota aigua” (Catalan adaptation of “Underwater Boi” by Turnstile), “Slow” (Julieta Venegas), “Pau” (Els Pets), “Scream” (Palo Syrup), “Sono innamorato di te” (adaptation of his own song, “I’m in love with you”, into Italian in collaboration with Lecocq), “Aixopluc” (Da Souza) and “Blueprint” (Catalan adaptation of the song of the same title by Fugazi). That is, a combination of styles and artists from different generations that the group brings to its field.
And above all remember the tour “Toast”which will have twelve concerts in twelve days:
