Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso pause their career for mental health

Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso announced that they would be releasing a new album, ‘Top of the Hills’, this Friday, December 19. However, the album has not been released and the Argentine duo has explained that they have decided to postpone its release for mental health reasons, as well as the start of a tour associated with the album that until now had not been announced.

According to what they say, ‘Top of the Hills’ was created “at a time of too much speed,” but after reflecting, the group has realized that it needs to “rest and heal.” “We let ourselves be carried away by a level of exposure, pressure and success that we did not know how to handle, and we made erroneous and hasty decisions,” the group explains in a statement.

Acknowledging their need to briefly pause their career to rest, the duo adds: “Today we decided to slow down, postpone the tour and the album until further notice. Thank you for being there even when we are lost. We hope to be able to return when we are ready.”

Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso have been one of the musical revelations of 2025, especially following the premiere of their viral Tiny Desk. This year, the Buenos Aires duo of Catriel Guerreiro and Ulises Guerriero have won five Latin GRAMMYs and performed at Coachella.

‘Top of the Hills’ had gone ahead with the single ‘Gimme More’, which satirized its own success, with phrases like “I have a million and I want two / I have an angel, but I want God.”
