C. Tangana’s first film will hit theaters in December

If you were wondering what I was doing C. Tangana these last few months, here’s the answer. “The flamenco guitar of Yerai Cortés”his first film as a director, will hit theaters on December 20.

Distributed by A Contracorriente Films and produced by Little Spain, the next December 20th will hit commercial theaters “The flamenco guitar of Yerai Cortés”which is the first feature film of Anton Alvarezwho is best known by his stage name C. Tangana. He will also be opening the New Directors section of the San Sebastian Festival.

Antón Álvarez’s debut film, starring the guitarist and member of his live band Yerai Cortesrevolves around “a family secret that needs to be told.” And that’s all we know about the film beyond the words of the creatives at Rubio & Del Amo, responsible along with Cruz and Cruz for the film’s poster and advertising: “(It’s a film) with a fiercely contemporary approach when it comes to approaching the world of tradition, mysticism and passion that is in this story.”

The artist has already revealed his role as a director with the audiovisual piece “Oliveira Dos Cen Anos”, the anthem that commemorates the centenary of Real Club Celta de Vigo, recently awarded three Golden Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival 2024.
