C Marí, the only entry on Discos España

The album chart in Spain leaves little news this week, while ‘Lux’ returns to second place after the arrival of the tour in Madrid (today it is hosted by Barcelona). The number one continues to be led by Omar Courtz, who simultaneously has the number 1 single on his corresponding chart.

The most significant novelty of the week is the re-entry in position 25 of ‘The show is over’, by Ana Torroja. The album debuted at number 36, but it seems that its vinyl edition has finished being distributed later, since on the vinyl chart the album rises from number 38 to number 3, only blocked by Rosalía and Bad Bunny.

In fact, the only novelty of the week on the list, the only entry in the top 100, is signed by the Valencian singer and rapper C. Marí, who places the second volume of his series of EPs, ‘Latin Lover Songs’, at number 36. The first installment of ‘Latin Lover Songs’ debuted at number 45. Both C. Marí’s album and Torroja’s are independent releases.

C. Marí, whose real name is Carlos Marí Cervera, became known on YouTube by creating content on the Los Xavales channel, where he reacted to urban music news. He is not new on the list, since his album ‘Sempre cor’ had already been in the top 30 a couple of years ago.
