Bunbury adds another top 1 in Spain; Rigoberta rises

Bunbury is one of the lucky few capable of unseating Bad Bunny from the album list in Spain, where ‘I had to throw more photos’ has 14 of the 17 weeks of 2025 in number 1. After Lady Gaga and Leiva, the former leader of Heroes of Silence reaches the top with his new installment, ‘Pending accounts’.

It is not precisely rare to see Bunbury at the top of the lists, because he has succeeded with several of his study discs, not just the first. ‘Hellville de Luxe’ in 2008, ‘The consequences’ in 2010, ‘Expectations’ in 2017 and ‘Greta Garbo’ in 2023 also achieved it, while other of their albums have been in position 2 (‘Licenciado Cantinas’, ‘Palosanto’) or in 3th place (‘Freak Show’). This new album has been fortunate despite Bad Bunny’s competition.

There are other entries in the Top 4, such as ‘Time is not gold’ by Antonio Orozco (number 3) and ‘Skeletá’ of Ghost (number 5). We must also highlight two incursions into the Top 10: ‘Jesus Superstar’ by Rigoberta Bandini rises from 33 to 7 position on the occasion of the arrival at the end of his vinyl (Top 2 in LP’s, only behind Bunbury); and ‘reboot’ of Paul Thin that reaches number 9, for the entrance of his vinyl (top 6 of that subtabla).

They are at the doors of the top 10 two interesting releases that you will see in festivals: ‘Bravo’ by Sexy Zebras (Top 11) and ‘The Secret’ of Juicy Bae (Top 12). We will try to review them soon.

Other novelties of the week are ‘My voice notes’ by Mafalda Cardenal (Top 60), ‘R31’ of 31 FAM (Top 85) and ‘Unatøned’ by Machine Head (Top 93), although of course we will highlight the entry of our last album of the week.

‘All the good things’ by Rufus T. Firefly has entered the 91st position. The album is not yet in the vinyl table, so we assume that a rebound could have in coming weeks.
