Buenos Vampiros premiere “The Last Shot” and announce Spanish tour

Good Vampires published today, September 4, The last shoteithertheir fourth album, and they are also preparing an extensive Spanish tour that will take them to fifteen stages between September 12 and October 4. The route will start in Barcelona and pass through Lleida, Madrid, Getaria, Donostia, Santander, Oviedo, A Guarda, Seville, Granada, Almería, Málaga, Bullas and Valencia before continuing its European route.

Formed in Mar del Plata in 2018, Buenos Vampiros face this new stage after intense live activity that already took them to tour Europe in 2025. Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Hungary were part of that tour, during which they also recorded a special session for Radio 3 in Madrid. Now they return to the continent with new material and an itinerary that also includes cities such as Paris, Berlin, London, Dublin, Warsaw and Pisa.

The tour will serve to present The last shota work made up of twelve songs and an introduction with which the band continues to delve deeper into its particular intersection of post-punk, dream pop and new wave. In this new repertoire, synthesizers, dense atmospheres and an increasingly marked melodic component gain weight.

The album had three previews “There is no love that can save us”, “Weird world” and “Die in my land”. The latter takes as its starting point a poem by the Palestinian writer Fadwa Tuqan and moves away from the group’s usual electric thrust to rely on bass drum, cello and synthesizers. In “The port shoulder” Pedro Moscuzza, from Tomates en Verano, also participates as second drummer along with Mora Murguet.

The voices of Irina Tuma and Ignacio Perrotta continue alternating throughout an album produced by the band itself together with Estanislao López, also responsible for recording and mixing. The mastering is carried out by Sr. Warrior, while Santiago Moscardi signs the artwork and Tobías Polanco the photographs.

Published in Europe by Spinda Records and for Discus Bridge House in the rest of the world, The last shot It comes after a career in which Buenos Vampiros have shared the stage with names like Iggy Pop, Public Image Ltd., DIIV, Dry Cleaning, American Football or Ana Curra.
