BTS sweep Spain; enter Rodrigo Cuevas, Ginebras, Mujeres…

BTS are the new number 1 Albums in Spain with ‘Arirang’, an album that they have placed in the top 1 of other countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea (they say that with 4 million copies sold in one week), Japan, Germany, France, Holland, Australia… We almost finished before indicating which market they have missed: in Italy and Sweden they have been at number 2.

In addition, it should be noted that the South Korean group is number 1 on vinyl in Spain and also on streaming. We sense the latter because up to 9 of the 14 songs on his album appear in the top 100 singles. They are the following:
12 (E) Swim
41 (E) Body to Body
67 (E) Hooligan
73 (E) FYA
76 (E) Normal
79 (E) Like Animals
84 (E) Aliens
90 (E) 2.0
100 (E) Merry Go Round

Returning to the most popular albums in the country, we must talk about more interesting entries: Feid reaches number 11 with ‘El Green Print: La Saga (Disc 1)’. This “saga” only has 7 songs.

Also in the top 20 we find Rodrigo Cuevas, top 18 with ‘Beauty Manual’ (also top 9 in vinyl); and Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, number 20 with ‘Free Spirits’. This last work does not exist in physical format, so it would have double merit.

Ginebras reach number 24 on Discos España with ‘Where nothing is for so much’ and Ana Torroja to a modest 36th place with ‘The show is over’. A good entry for them (top 3 on vinyl too), not so much for the former leader of Mecano, used to other figures.

The week’s entries are completed with Amore, which places ‘Top Hits, Ballads, etc’ at number 62 thanks to its physical edition; Reality, which reaches number 72 with ‘In case I die tomorrow’; Women, who place ‘It’s an inexplicable pain’ in 74th place; and Lewis Potter and Reddy, who reach number 83 with ‘Britishboy’. Amore has been top 8 in vinyl, and Mujeres, top 11 in said subchart.
