Broken Social Scene return after almost 10 years

Broken Social Scene return after almost 10 years of hiatus. The band that became popular in the 2000s with ‘You Forgot It In People’ (2003) or ‘Broken Social Scene’ (2005), which were so influential on the scene, had not released a full-length album since ‘Hug of Thunder’ in 2017.

The new album is called ‘Remember the Humans’ and today it reveals its first single. ‘Not Around Anymore’ remains faithful to the style of Broken Social Scene, a tangle of guitars, rhythms and brass, which repeats phrases like “there is no need to hide anymore”, “there is no need to try anymore” or “there is no need to lie anymore”. The group has once again worked with the producer of their classics, David Newfeld.

We leave you with the tracklist, headed by the cut we know today.
