Brittany Howardwho we know as the vocalist of Alabama Shakes and for his solo career, he has officially debuted in the world of hardcore leading Kumite.
He mentioned it a few months ago, but we didn’t know exactly what we were going to find. Now it is clear to us thanks to the fact that the concert has taken place and that the American website Brooklyn Vegan has posted videos of the performance.
Brittany Howard, whom we first met as the lead singer of Alabama Shakes and later for her solo albums, announced that she would participate in a benefit concert in Nashville with a view to raising funds for local associations. Well, finally things were getting serious and Howard was in charge of a new project, Kumitein which he sings and occasionally plays guitar.
With her at the forefront, the rest of the members of Kumite are a complete group, Second Spirit, displayed their hard and raw hardcore, with a version of “AM/PM” by American Nightmare included in the set.
