The British independent cultural scene will arrive in Barcelona thanks to the Brit Under Festwhich will include music, design, fashion, film, visual arts, literature and dance. It will be celebrated May 15 and 16 at the Poble Espanyol Picnic Tent in Barcelona.
It will be the first festival dedicated exclusively to British culture in our country and, specifically, in Barcelona. And as said, we will not only be able to attend concerts by independent British bands such as the combative punk and rap group Cooper T.and the group King No-One (Yorkshire), but there will be representatives from various worlds related to British culture.
The Brit Under Fest will have as participants, in addition to the aforementioned groups, none other than the writer Irvin Welshauthor of “Trainspotting” and a long list of classics of recent British literature, a true cultural icon of the country.
In addition to the performances, the program will be completed with DJs, exhibitions, visual artists, designers, writers, chefs, children’s activities, workshops in English, film and series screenings, tea rooms, food trucks and stands from British publishers.
Early bird tickets are now on sale through the official website www.britunderfest.com at a price of €52. New artists and the complete lineup for this first edition will be announced soon.
