The Baltimore Hardcore Band The SET has announced the departure of its guitarist Brady Eberta few weeks before the publication of his first EP, “Self Evident Truth”planned for next March 6.
The relationship between Ebertwho was a member of Turnstileand his new band. It seems that Ebert is not having a good streak. After his harsh criticism against his previous formation, it seems that he has also attacked his current colleagues from The SET, something that they did not seem to like too much and which has led to an immediate dismissal. In any case, we do not know to what extent his criticism a few weeks ago against Turnstile and against Brendan Yates in particular has ended up generating this discomfort in The SET
On social media, the group noted a few days ago that “Brady is no longer a member of THE SET. We are not going to support his ridiculous comments and behavior towards the members of our band and our community. We will continue to defend Baltimore hardcore and we thank everyone for their support.”
Ebert’s relationship with the members of Turnstile had deteriorated to unimaginable extremes, even requesting a restraining order from drummer Daniel Fang, an order that Ebert believes was dismissed by a judge. In any case, whether this is the case or not, it is evident that Ebert is not knowing how to control his opinions and that exposing them on social networks in the terms in which he has done so has led the situation to the worst possible outcome.
